How long have you worked at IMAX?
My first shift was working front-of-house in October 2010. I like to think that I was hired for TRON: LEGACY and now I’m building my own IMAX legacy. The passage of time that has elapsed since then is made clear to me often, since my staff pass still has the baby-faced photo taken that first day.

Favourite IMAX film of all time?
Tough question but I reckon my answer has to be MAD MAX: FURY ROAD. The desert, the Doof Wagon, that soundtrack. Honourable mention goes to GRAVITY 3D, the movie that first made me truly “get” what’s so cool about IMAX.  

What makes IMAX different from other cinemas?
Well, glad you asked. I’m a big fan of the way movies can completely envelop you in their action, drama and emotion. You can’t get much more immersive than our giant screen, and the quality of the sound in the theatre is phenomenal. Superlatives come easy when thinking about the IMAX experience.

What’s the best thing about our IMAX community?
Being connected to a group of people with diverse interests, ideas and life-experiences, who can all get together to love (or occasionally deride) a new release.

What is the best part of your job?
I’m tempted to think that the answer is that you’re always close to some delicious popcorn. But to be honest it’s being part of a great team of people. Taking friends to see movies for free is always a treat.

How do we say ‘IMAX is the best’ in German?
IMAX ist das Allerbeste!
