Extreme Weather

Rated: ctc
Exempt from Classification*
Runtime: 45 minutes

Weather has always shaped our planet and way of life, as a source of both creation and destruction. EXTREME WEATHER is a film about the dynamic and complex forces affecting our planet.

This mind-blowing IMAX documentary explores the connections between seemingly unrelated weather events – from typhoons and tornadoes to forest fires and flash floods – illustrating to your students how all of these extreme elements are linked.

Meet the scientists around the world working to unlock the keys to predicting and surviving the dangerous weather to come. Storm-chaser Sean Casey and his team will take your students on a journey across the globe, tracking and documenting the forces impacting our planet.

If scientists and researchers can build a clearer picture of what’s going on in different environments around the world, we may be able to lessen the impact of climate change.

Please note: theatre seating for all IMAX Documentaries is non-allocated. Please follow instructions given by our friendly staff when you enter the theatre.
